Wow, I haven't posted in a while. That's mostly because I dislike writing and don't take the time to do it. :D Nevertheless, I shall try to do more...
This is a hymn we sang yesterday at church. I thought the 5th verse was kind of funny... :D

1. Earth and all stars, loud rushing planets,
sing to the Lord a new song!
O victory, loud shouting army,
sing to the Lord a new song!

Refrain: He has done marvelous things.
I, too, will praise him with a new song!

2. Hail, wind, and rain, loud blowing snowstorms,
sing to the Lord a new song!
Flowers and trees, loud rustling leaves,
sing to the Lord a new song! Refrain

3. Trumpet and pipes, loud clashing cymbals,
sing to the Lord a new song!
Harp, lute, and lyre, loud humming cellos,
sing to the Lord a new song! Refrain

4. Engines and steel, loud pounding hammers,
sing to the Lord a new song!
Limestone and beams, loud building workers,
sing to the Lord a new song! Refrain

5. Classrooms and labs, loud boiling test tubes,
sing to the Lord a new song!
Athlete and band, loud cheering people,
sing to the Lord a new song! Refrain

6. Knowledge and truth, loud sounding wisdom,
sing to the Lord a new song!
Daughter and son, loud praying members,
sing to the Lord a new song! Refrain

Wow, can you say "cold front?" Isn't it amazing how it can be 90 one day and 70 the next? It's nice to be able to step outside and not be instantly drenched in sweat! :D I guess there are some things that come with the cooler weather. Like co-op and band and FINE LINEN DRAMA! Well, the practices and performances , not the auditions... :P Well, I guess I need to get back to doing nothing... :D

School and other happenings

We started school today! We haven't started full-swing yet, but we have started most subjects. Also, Elizabeth started kindergarten (the best 3 years of her life)! Dad is teaching her for about an hour a day, and today they started on the letter S and learned the MFW alphabet song! She is making good progress in her speech, as well as her writing. This year I am doing Algebra 2 (Saxon), World History (Peter Notgrass), Biology (Apologia), English (ACE), and Spanish (possibly Rosetta Stone). I (and maybe Isaac) will be doing First Lego League again this year. We'll be in GRACE co-op again this year, and I can't wait for the next Fine Linen season! Oh, and I'll also be playing Basketball this year with RHAA, so I'll hopefully I'll post a schedule. Abby is playing volleyball this fall, so I'll probably (have/get to) go to some of her games. :D Well, I guess I should go do something else now. :D

The First of the July Birthdays.......

Today Elizabeth turned 7! I can hardly believe that she is 7 already! We had a birthday lunch/presents earlier, and swimming after lunch. Elizabeth is still pulling Woody's string. :D
I don't know where the camera is right now, so pictures are still to come!
