Oh dear....

So, in biology today I learned about the classification of fruit. I learned that a strawberry isn't technically a berry. So this evening at home I saw a container of strawberries and said to dad: "Did you know that strawberries aren't berries?" Dad's witty reply was: "Yeah, and they aren't straw, either!" Oh dear...

Is it really 2012 already?? I guess so. Well, if you 2:11 to spare, uh, this is a good way to spend it... :D

In light of the fact that it is getting close to Christmas (Christmas?? Already??), and also that I haven't posted in over a month I thought I'd share a couple of things. :D First this:

Awesome, right??

Second, three teams from Rolla went to Mountain Home, Arkansas for a FIRST Lego League robotics qualifier. The Rolla teams were 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in the qualifying rounds! The team I was on (Blue), scored 63 in the 1st round (that's not very good). 79 in the 2nd (tying us for 10th place out of 12 teams), and then had about 45 min before our last run to fix everything. We did, and scored 140, putting us in 2nd place! The Red Team won with 152, and the Green Team got 3rd with 133! We were all invited to compete in the Arkansas state tournament, but I'm not sure if we are going to go.

Well, Schoolhouse Rock is done, and White Christmas is opening a week from Thursday! Ahh! Where does time go these days?? (Probably the same place my head went in the picture...) :D
